Sancerre Cooking lessons

Day 1

Departure from Paris in the morning.
The first day is dedicated to Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé wines. With the company of an expert, you visit the vineyard and taste some Sancerre of the Domain de la Poussie.

Day 1 (next)

In the early afternoon, you get a taste of the famous Chavignol goat cheese.
We spend the rest of the afternoon visiting the winery of the Chateau du Nozet, the best Pouilly Fumé in the world, which you get to try. This visit is exclusive to Loire Valley Prestige.
A 3* hotel facing the Loire River is booked for the night, and we have dinner in the gastronomic restaurant.
Chateau of Artigny Day 2

We leave Sancerre in the direction of the “Chateaux region”.
In the morning, you discover a jewel from the Renaissance, the Chateau of Chambord, listed as a world heritage by the UNESCO.

Lunch is booked in the restaurant of the Chateau of Chambord.
Day 2 (next)

In the afternoon, we drive you to Chaumont sur Loire to sail the river on an authentic 19th century boat. The guide presents you the preserved nature of the Loire also listed by UNESCO as a world heritage.
In case of bad weather you visit the town and the chateau of Amboise.
Dinner and accommodation are in a 4* Chateau Hotel.

At 12.00 pm aperitif and the gastronomic lunch are served with the appropriated Loire Valley wines.
Day 3 (next)
We take you to the Domain Marc Brédif, where you visit the nicest Vouvray cellar, and taste dry, medium dry, sweet, and sparkling Vouvray.
Dinner and night are in the same 4* Chateau hotel.
Cooking lesson with head chef
Day 4
At 9 am the cooking lesson takes place in a 4* Chateau hotel.
The Head Chef welcomes you with coffee and brioche. According to the season, he presents you his recipes. From 9.30 am to 11 am, you participate to the elaboration of the dishes.
At 11 am, the head wine waiter organises a tasting to match the food.

Day 4 (next)

You visit the elegant Chateau of Chenonceau built across the river Cher.
Dinner and night are in the same 4* chateau hotel.

In the morning, you visit the Chateau of Cheverny. This Chateau is famous for its magnificent furniture and its Master's paintings.

Lunch is at your convenience in the medieval town of Blois.
The Chateau of Blois use to be the residence of one of the most popular French kings François 1st.

In the afternoon, we head back towards Paris to end the trip.
